Hon. Sunday Benson Unveils “Hi – SEE” Transformation Agenda For Imota LCDA

Transformational “Hi – SEE” agenda unveiled today by the Chairman, Imota LCA, Hon. Sunday Benson

A month after his assumption of office as the Executive Chairman, Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele (BSA), has unveiled what he termed as a transformative agenda for Imota LCDA.

The agenda tagged, “Hi – SEE”, as acronym for Healthcare Services, Infrastructure, Sports Development, Education, and Environment, was released today by the LCDA chairman.

In a statement from the Office of the Chairman announcing the agenda stated: “The administration of Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele and Hon. (Princess) Bisoye Omowunmi Jimoh presents a transformation agenda encapsulated in the acronym “Hi-SEE,” which stands for Healthcare Services, Infrastructure, Sports Development, Education, and Environment.

He gave clear explanation of each component of the “Hi-SEE” acronym, along with various proposed projects aimed at the development of Imota LCDA.”

Under the Healthcare Services, Hon. Benson’s administration intends to focus on the Renovation of the Primary Health Care Centre, Ebute-Ajebo Road, Imota and Renovation of the Primary Health Care Centre, Oriokuta Community, Imota with pavement and water system installation.

For Infrastructure, according to the Chairman, the administration intends to Construct culverts on Saka Awo-Oloko along Secretariat Road and at Ayedelege Street. Also, Drainage construction on Owode Street (Ward B).

In the area of Sports Development, the agenda aimed at fast-tracking the completion of Imota Mini-Stadium and Renovation of Imota Youth Centre at Adogun Community, Imota.

According to the Chairman, the focus of his administration in the area of Environment are clearing and proper disposal of refuse at the Oriokuta refuse site and clearing of bushes on both sides of the Igbokuta Bridge.

For Education, the council will focus on Renovation of dilapidated classroom blocks at Methodist Primary School, Imota, and construction of a new 6-classroom modern building that includes a toilet and water system; Repairing the two entrance gates at St. John’s Anglican Primary School, Imota and cleaning the school environment and Renovation of the Vocational Training Centre, Oriokuta, Imota.

Other focuses on educational development are providing bursary awards and scholarships to less privileged and physically challenged students in public tertiary institutions; organizing a career talk for JAMB students to help them select the right courses of study and upgrading the Imota Public Library into an e-library.

“The development of Imota Local Council Development Area is of utmost importance to us, and we are committed to ensuring that our goals are concretely manifested across all sectors mentioned above as we serve the good people of Imota LCDA with sincerity of purpose,” the chairman added.
